ACCOUNT DELETION
Delete your Know & Win account.
You can delete your Know & Win account and its data at any time, from the app or by email. Here is how, and exactly what happens to your data.
1Delete your account in the Know & Win app
- Open the Know & Win app and sign in.
- Go to Profile, then tap Manage account.
- Scroll to Delete account, type the email address of your account to confirm, and tap Deactivate and delete.
- You are signed out straight away and your account is deactivated. It is permanently deleted 30 days later.
- Changed your mind? Sign in again within those 30 days and everything is restored exactly as it was.
2Can't open the app? Ask us by email
- Email info@knownwin.com from the Google account address you use with Know & Win, with the subject "Delete my account".
- We confirm the request and delete the account and its data within 30 days.
- If you also manage a brand on Know & Win, say so in the email so we can close the brand or hand it over to a colleague first.
3What is deleted
- Your profile: name, email address, photo, gender and chosen city.
- Coupons you won and your quiz history, including scores and retakes.
- Reviews and ratings you wrote, reports you filed and your support conversations.
- Notification settings and the push notification tokens of your devices.
4What is kept, and for how long
- Records of coupons already redeemed at a branch are kept without your name or contact details, so brands can audit their promotions. These records can no longer be linked to you.
- Messages sent through the website contact forms are kept for up to 24 months, and server logs for up to 90 days, then deleted.
- We keep any record we are required to keep by law, only for as long as the law requires.
5Delete some data without deleting your account
- Change or remove your name and photo from Profile, then Edit profile.
- Edit or delete any review from the brand's page.
- For anything else, email info@knownwin.com and we will remove it within 30 days.
